Joe Cartisano
I started learning the Clarinet at age 9, at 11 I was playing first clarinet in the Council band in Reggio Calabria (Italy). I continued studying Clarinet and Saxophone at the high school connected to the Conservatorium "Francesco Cilea" in the same City. After high school I was a full time performance students for another 2 years.
Also I have a Bachelor of education majoring in Music, obtained in Australia.
In the 90s I have continued studying clarinet and Saxophone with Mark Walton from the Sydney Conservatorium and past a practical level LTCL in Clarinet.
I played with the Penrith Symphony orchestra, and the University of western Sydney where I had the opportunity to perform the Weber Clarinet Concerto N1.
I have played and thought at different times in the past 40 years.
Now I am going back to teaching full time and eager to see clarinet and saxophone students succeed beyond their own expectations.
